„ON THE RUN“ – European Art Camp+ 2017
Since 1997 the county of Kassel has organised the international European Art Camp+ (EUARCA+), which
takes place during the same year of the documenta and reunites artists from the partner regions of the county.
During the two-week stay in Germany, the artists will produce a work based on the theme „On the Run“, which will be on display at Ziegeleimuseum in Kaufungen from 26th August during two weeks.
The focus of this theme is based on the ambiguity of the term „On the run“, which can refers to the current refugee situation as well as escape tendancies (from responsibility, in the private sphere etc.)
The exhibition will be curated by Elisabetta Pozzetti – an Italian exhibition-maker who has already participated in previous cultural exchange projects in Kassel.
